Synopsis (Dutch) Wat is echt?
“It happens that the stage sets collapse… At any street corner the feeling of absurdity can strike any man in the face. The “why” arises and everything begins in that weariness tinged with amazement. Suddenly, the absurd person sees through the routine, and the ‘chain of daily gestures’ is broken. Now everything begins to seem pointless and comical. Here we all are, all of us eating and drinking to preserve our precious existence. And there’s nothing, absolutely no reason for existing. Human turned into a machine, of repeated meaningless action. Once stripped of its common romanticisms, the world is a foreign, strange and inhuman place; true knowledge is impossible and rationality and science cannot explain the world.” Albert Camus, The Myth of Sysiphus
